YOUNGSTOWN – James Richard Henry, 69, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, after an extended illness.
He was born in Sharon, Pa., on Sept. 18, 1944, to the late John and Catherine Henry.
James was an Austintown Fitch High School graduate. He went on to serve our country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
James enjoyed building old cars and was a very skillful mechanic. He loved racing, NASCAR, and will also be remembered for his artistic abilities.
Left to mourn James’ passing is his loving wife, Shirley Kay Henry; his children, Terry (Pauly) Henry of Austintown, James (Tracie) Henry Jr. of Austintown, Jamie Henry of Iowa, and Brittney (Mike) Manse of Lake Milton; his grandchildren, Terry Jr., Brooke, Dylan, and Natalie; his sister, Mary Kay Henry of Austintown; and his brother-in-law, John (Kathy) McDonald of Cortland.
A private family service has taken place with cremation to follow.
