Well after graduating from SVHS I went on to Cal Poly, Pomona where I graduated in 1992 with a degree in Finance (yup, took me a while, couldn't figure out what I wanted to study). After my first job out of school, I decided to travel to Europe and lived in Spain a bit.
Came back to the States met my wonderful partner, Tony Hernandez. We've been together for 12 years. We live in downtown L.A. in a loft, like how L.A. is becoming a real downtown. There is an art walk every 2nd Thursday of each month in downtown L.A., its fun and its very eclectic with all the people, artwork galleries, cafes and music. We enjoy eating out, traveling to different parts of the world, and going out to the movies among other things. But, I still enjoy staying at my mom's house on the weekends since she is alone after my father's death. Like how Baldwin Park has cleaned up over the years...
Went to graduate school in '04 at Pepperdine University, Malibu, and was able to study abroad at both Oxford University, England and Fudan University, China.
Planning a trip to India soon or somewhere as interesting and hopefully I will update everyone on my Facebook account with new pics... No matter what part of the globe we travel, the people we meet and cultures we experience are truly amazing. Would love to travel to the Middle East, but sounds like a dangerous place to go at the moment. Hopefully that will change soon.
Hope to see all of you in October at our reunion or sooner and catch up and toast to those wonderful memories at SVHS.
Saludos & Cheers...
Some of my very best memories were when I was a band geek. I really had fun traveling and winning all those trophies along the way. Since then music, has been a big part of my life and I attribute it to high band, gooooo Dons...lol
