Joseph H. Falkowski Sr.  September 6, 1942 - June 25, 1998

BATAVIA - Joseph H. Falkowski Sr., 55, of Corfu, a school bus driver for Pembroke Central School for the last four years, died Thursday (June 25, 1998) at Genesee Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Falkowski was born Sept. 6, 1942, in Batavia, a son of Joseph J. and Mary Wawryzniak Falkowski of Alexander.

He was a member of the Batavia Benevolent Protective Order of Elks, the Watershed Foundation and Walleye Foundation.

Surviving with his parents are his wife, Carolyn McClintock Falkowski, whom he married March 17, 1990; a son, Joseph Jr. (Renee) Falkowski of Batavia; a daughter, Lisa Falkowski of Oakfield; four stepchildren, Robert (Deborah) McKeown of Florida, Andrew (Tina) Pollock of Middleport, Roy (Judith) Radley of Lynnwood and Stephen (Joetta) Pollock of Caledonia; a sister, Teresa (Samuel) Prinzi of Lakewood, Colo.; one grandchild; eight stepgrandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was a brother of the late Bernadette Falkowski.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Bohm-Calarco Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main St., where prayers at 9 a.m. Monday will be followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
