School Story:
For me it would have to be the time my band "Stardust" performed in front of the entire school. We had a special effect that me and my buddy Joey Veedell built and we called it "the fire wall"! The idea was that you would place gun powder on two, two by fours and ignite it with trip wire and a switch. And it would make a quick foot tall wall of fire lasting maybe a minute. We had done this at several prior gigs with no problems. Well, this particular gig at the Bellaire High School Auditorium, we neglected to inform Mr. Gregory the Assistant Principal. So when the "fire wall" came on during our performance Mr. Gregory thought the stage was on fire and he came running from backstage with a fire extinguisher! But by the time he got to the stage the fire wall had ending. Needless to say, he was not happy and we heard all about it after the performance. But hey, that just how we rolled back then...Rock-n-Roll Baby!!😄🤘
