In 2006, we attended the UCLA Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Banquet of a dear friend. My family was pretty WOWED by having dinner with Coach John Wooden, Bill Walton, Mike Shakleford and Kareem Abdul Jabar. A neat night!

Last December, our daughter, Tori, played in the DII NCAA National Soccer Championships. Her team, the University of West Florida, lost in double overtime, 1-0, their first loss for the entire season. The game was nationally televised and
everytime they showed her playing, her name and hometown would be written on the screen. It was pretty neat seeing her name and Bellaire, Texas written on national television. Kuddos!!! Bellaire Soccer Club and BHS women's soccer!!

I had a great time at Bellaire. I was tickled when our daughter, Tori, was named "Miss Bellaire" in 2008, a title I received in 1979. Does anybody know where Danny Walker can be found? Mr. Bellaire of 1979???????

graduated from Texas Tech University. While at Tech, I met my future husband, Jim. We married in 1986-while he was in the Air Force and lived in various places throughout the southwest. In 1992, we moved back to Houston with our 2 year old daughter, Tori. In 1993, our first son was born with a rare heart condition. He passed away before his first birthday. We were blessed with two more children in 1997 and in 2003. We moved into Bellaire in 1998 and live on Pin Oak Lane, until this past August. We moved to Flower Mound on August 18, 2009. My career has been varied, exciting, crazy and boring at times. My undergraduate degree is in Speech and Hearing Sciences, my Masters degree is in Elementary Education and I am trying to finish my Doctorate in Education. I have worked as a teacher, administrator, goofer, personal assistant,..... currently not working and loving it!!!
In 2004, we built a house in Bellaire with an apartment attached. We loaned the apartment out to out-of-town patients receiving treament at MD Anderson. What a great experience for our
family. Through out our MDA mission, we learned ALOT about life, death, friendships, families and faith. Jim, my husband, is a pilot with American Airlines. We have traveled extensively throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, South America and Europe. Our children love to travel and we have had some great adventures, good and bad!!
