Herbert Amos Donham

For the past two and a half years I have been the Manager of Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home in Vincennes, IN. It is the oldest Funeral Home in Indiana. I have been a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer since 1976. I got out of the profession for a number of years, working as a Security Guard, and then as a Correctional Officer, at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility, in Carlise Indiana for 13 1/2 years.

My most memorable school event was being in Washington D.C. in April 1968, with the Marching Warrior Band. While we were there riots broke out after the killing of Dr. Martin Luther King. It was an experience that I hope I never have to go through again, (the riots) not being in Washington D.C. with the band.
