Jeffrey A. Siewers, 64, of Evansville, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

He was born Feb. 11, 1952 in Vincennes to the late Robert C. and Helen E. (Holtman) Siewers. He retired from Industrial Contractors in August 2013 after 30 years of employment and was a member of Local 136 Plumbers and Steamfitters. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed playing the guitar, often with his brothers, nephews and friends. Not only was he a wonderful husband, father, grandfather (“Paw-Paw”) and brother, he was a great friend to many people.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara E. (Vinson) Siewers; a son, Jeffrey Michael “Rowdy” Siewers and his wife, Joyce of Henderson, Kentucky; grandchildren Xander, Carter and A.J. Siewers; a sister, Betsy Brand of Indianapolis; brothers, Deacon Joseph Siewers and his wife, Becky of Fort Branch and Leo Siewers and his wife, Connie of Jasper; a sister-in-law, Remo Harris of Chesapeake, Virginia; life-long friend Kenneth Bowlin of Vincennes; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert C. Siewers II.

A Memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. CDT on Friday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Evansville with a Rosary Service at 10:30 a.m. CDT officiated by Father Jason Gries, Father Tony Ernst and Deacon Joseph Siewers.
