Bob – I can confirm that Daniel passed away in Florida on or near the date you mentioned in your email.  I spoke this evening to his “ex” who related the following:

 

After Seaholm, Dan attended Defiance College, in Defiance, Ohio, but did not graduate.  He met his first wife, Roberta (goes by Bobbie) and they eventually had one son, Derek.  They moved to Florida, had marital problems, and divorced.  He remarried in the 1980s to Carol L Schutte and had a second son with her, Christopher.  Dan had a variety of jobs after college but, most noteworthy, he was an electrician.
