From the Birmingham Eccentric (10/18/12): Age 68, passed away Sept. 20th, 2012 at his residence in Mesa, Arizona after a four year battle with Cancer. Ron grew up in Beverly Hills, MI, and Franklin, MI. where he was a 1962 Graduate of Birmingham Seaholm H.S., attended Northwood Institute, and Parsons College. After college, Ron worked for Dunham's Sporting Goods, and Dick's Sports in Howell, MI before retiring to Arizona in 2008. He was the son of the late Damon L. Westcott of Franklin, MI and Clearwater, FL. He is survived by his Mother, Ursula Westcott of Clearwater, FL, brother Rick & wife Jeannette Westcott of Mesa, AZ, Son Chris Westcott of Wyoming, MI, and Daughter Dr. Kathryn 'Katie' Westcott of Cape Cod, MA.
