Did anyone get a tree at Casey's on north main or Pine Valley Tree Farm at Spin Lake? I sold trees at Casey's Market after school until the Navy called me after graduation. Also, my wife and I worked on the Sloneker Tree Farm several years when we lived at Heritage Lake. I worked in the fields, and my wife worked in the shed. Many memories- deer, and I saw the largest V formation of geese going south. I will never forget.
I was focusing on my work after school more then grades. And It showed. I remember running into Mrs. Kraft when I was filling the milk case and she said "I didn't see you in my English class today."
