News photographer and film editor at WKBN all though YSU. Membership services, then Assistant Advertising Manager for QST Magazine at the national association for Amateur Radio, the American Radio Relay League, Newington, CT. News photographer, film and video editor at WVIT Hartford, NBC for CT. In California: News Videographer for Orange County News Channel, KNBC Los Angeles, PBS SoCal.

Proud moments:

Pulling a prank on air on Don Imus at WFAN, pretending to be another TV crew from another station in CT that was supposed to show up, the other reporter Imus had developed an on-air crush with and invited her to come visit him at WFAN. There are other memorable moments, too.

What is your favorite listening music these days?

Classical, mostly. My 2nd job during college at YSU had me at WYSU and the power of classical music and it's history stuck with me. But I listen to some Country, Rock. Rap I still don't get.

What's on your bucket list?

Watching my kids grow up and helping as I can, more travel, do more ham radio and keep learning.

I don't blame you for dropping Fakebook, Gary. It is SCARY what FB, Google, Twitter and even YouTube are doing to our privacy by mining information we often unwittingly give them just by going to stuff we are intrested in. And now with the above mentioned practicing censorship against you if one of their algorithms detects an opinion you post that does not agree with theirs, it is downright unconstitutional what is being done in the public forums these platforms have become. Heard an interview with a filmmaker, M.A. Taylor, last week on a podcast called The National Pulse. The reporter (one of a handful left actually doing journalism these days), Raheem Kassam, had this filmmaker guy on last Thursday or Friday (4th or 5th of February) and he has been fighting censorship, too. Amazon Prime took his film off but it is available here: https://tubitv.com/movies/505732/the-creepy-line and on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0v6KBGr5IzY. Scary times, sir. I stay off FB mostly and may, like you, delete my account sooner rather than later. The only thing FB owns that is worth anything is WhatsApp which is encrypted communication end-to-end and we all use it in our family... especially with our son in the military in Germany. But now FaceBook wants to change terms of service, seemingly to allow them to detect what is in your allegedly secure communication to be able to market to you. Once they get that, who knows what else they get at the same time? Off we go to Signal?
I'm starting to rant. Sorry. But I get concerned about this stuff. Anyway, A Happy Birthday in another 10 days or so. Hope you are doing well and if you are going to the 50+ in August, hope to see you there (if we can get our act together!). All the best!
