My husband and I have bought a small ranch in Clyde, TX. We are raising cattle to resale. To me it is a ranch because we are not milking them-therefore that is a farm. Techanically it may not be big enough to call a ranch, maybe someday. We are in the process of moving. Trying to get everything packed and changed over to Clyde address. It is a little difficult after living in a house 33 years. It would have to be in the middle of Christmas. I'm just going one day at a time. Hopefully I will make it.

Well, it is now 2014 ( a very good year). I have survived the Texas drought, a very cold winter and the births of many calves and several minatuer donkeys. WE have added approximately 2000 Sq. feet to our house, added a greenhouse, and a barn to store our equipment. The wind blows almost as hard as it blow in Borger. Thank goodness I don't wear dresses that often. It always reminds me of the wind blowing at Coronado Elementary. We were not allowed to wear pants and our playground was a huge hole in the ground ..

The best is the birth of Kaden, Ashlynn and James!

we have sold all our cattle and now are raising miniature donkeys. We enjoy our life on the ranch. We thought about moving back to Arlington to be close to our kids and grandkids but have since decided to stay at the ranch where the kids and grandkids can come out to hunt and fish.

My memories are not very good because of my MS. I remember when I was a sophomore and Leslie Dunning had gone out wth me to Teen Town. We went by her house and left a note where we were going and then we called my parents and told them where we were going. We left Teen Town and drove by the Morley Theater and stopped and let a senior in the car. Well my Dad was behind us. We both got in trouble, because Seniors were to old for us. We couldn't be good even when we were trying!!!
