Robert Alan (Bob) Bruzas was born Sept. 22, 1943, in Seattle. He was raised in Bothell, and taught in Everett for 30 years. He passed away from Lou Gehrig's disease at his home in Grangeville on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007. A celebration of his life is planned for 1 p.m. Monday at Grangeville Christian Reformed Church. Memorials may be made to www.persecutionproject.org for water wells in Africa.

On August 15, 2013, Bob's name was added to the Northshore School District Wall of Honor.  The Bothell-Kenmore Reporter announced the 2013 Wall off Honor inductees on July 26.
