A remembrance of the life of Richard (Dick) Schoolcraft will be held Saturday, Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. at Nardoland in Maltby at 22128 Paradise Lake Rd.

The 1961 graduate of Bothell High School died last month in Nevada at the age of 72 following an extended illness. At Bothell he was known for his athletic prowess in football and baseball. He served in Vietnam from January 1965 through October 1966 and became an avid fan of sports and fishing and hunting. He spent years as a heavy equipment operator.

Dick is survived by his parents, Pete and Phyllis Schoolcraft of Kenmore; his wife, Linda Sanderson Schoolcraft; brothers Ed, Ron and Ken; daughters Rosanna Schoolcraft and Trischa Wright; granddaughters Anastazia and Kaylese Howard; and grandson Keyshon Wright.
