Our classmate Lee Sherin died on May 20, 2025. No formal obituary notice has been found, but we do know some facts about his life.

Lee was born in Seattle on February 1, 1943. He grew up in Kenmore and attended Bothell schools, graduating with us in 1961 from Bothell High. In Kenmore, he met his wife Suzie, a graduate of Snohomish High School. Lee worked as sales and office manager for a plumbing supply firm in Bellevue for thirty years. He liked watching football, doing woodworking, and projects around the house, which he and Suzie designed together and had built for them. They were not extensive travelers, but they enjoyed trips to Disneyland and to Hawai’i.

In retirement, Lee worked as a part time employee of a floral shop delivering bouquets of flowers all around the area.  Our classmate Jim Rettig was his neighbor and says that Lee would stop when he saw Jim walking and they would chat through his car's open window.  Jim writes “He was a very pleasant, kind, mellow fellow, easy to talk to, always seen with a smile on his face.”
