Bonnie Fisher (Lilya)

Bonnie Fisher (Lilya)

In The Herald (Everett) from November 14 to November 15, 2021:

Bonnie Jeanne (Fisher) Lilya

1943 - 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bonnie Jeanne Lilya of Kenmore, WA who left us on November 2, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Born on June 9th, 1943, in Everett WA, Bonnie was 78 years young and a precious light to her family. She was a very nurturing, loving and giving soul, who dedicated her life to making others happy. Bonnie was an amazing self-taught cook and gracious hostess. Whether it be holidays, Seahawk games, or any gathering, everyone who was lucky enough to know Bonnie, always felt welcomed in her home. She had a special beauty inside and out and created beauty in the world around her. She took pride in her garden, which supplied peas and new potatoes for the favorite family dish along with many vegetables for canning. She loved her adventures with family and to travel on the road with her husband, Gayle. Doing this put a smile on her face and a song in her heart. That smile and generous giving demeanor lives on in her daughters and all her family.

We wish we had more time with her, but take solace in the thought that she is now at peace. She was loved by many and will be dearly remembered and forever missed by family and friends. We are blessed by her love, and she will live on in our treasured memories. She was a gift in our lives and a joy in our hearts.

Bonnie is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years Gayle, daughters Lawni and Tawni, son in law Jeff, grandsons Kyle and Jesse, stepbrother Conrad and her half-sister Pam. With open arms she is preceded by her parents Guy and Elma, stepmother Beulah, and her sister Shirley.

We welcome family and friends to joijavascript:void('body')n us in, sharing memories, pictures and celebrating Bonnie at https://www.forevermissed.com/bonnie-lilya
