Welcome back, Class of '74!

The 50th Reunion is now one for the record books!  How was it? The following description was written by one of our great committee members.  We feel that it is SPOT ON!!

REFLECTION ON THE BHS CLASS OF 1974 50th REUNION:

It’s hard to express the joy I felt from the moment I started seeing and greeting our beloved classmates—some familiar, some becoming new friends in my life!

Something miraculous happened: all social, economic, and religious walls seemed to crumble in a way I’ve never experienced before. We came together like an army of friends, filled with nothing but joy to see those faces and hear those voices again, even if the first recognition was clouded by the passage of time.

I can’t quite explain it, but what unfolded last week was extraordinary! It felt so real at the picnic and at Oakridge; I could truly feel and taste the connection. We were given a gift that we helped create, and I will never, EVER forget the deep love I felt for each person I reconnected with.

I was transported back to the carefree days of the early 1970s—innocent about the future, curious, and full of love. It was as if we were able to recreate that sense of togetherness and solidarity, mixed with a touch of innocence.

Thank you all for allowing me to be a part of this beautiful experience. 💝💝💝 It’s etched in my mind and on my heart, and I will be forever grateful.

Sincerley,

Your 50th Reunion Planning Committee
