Danielle Dunn (Jensen)

Danielle Marie Jensen (Dunn) was born on March 17th, 1956, in Salt Lake City, UT to Daniel Augustine Dunn and Geraldine Frances Dunn (Dupree). She was the fourth of five daughters - Scarlett, Barbara, Monica and Frances. She was raised in Bountiful, UT and later moved to West Jordan, UT where she started a family of her own. She moved to California in 1991 after meeting the love of her life, Ron Jensen.

Danielle passed away peacefully on the evening of Friday, June 28th 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband Ron, children Chris, Heather, Ryan and Alena, grandchildren Taylor and Aubriana and great grandchildren Holden and Harbor.

Danielle had a gift of talking and relating to people which enabled her career in cosmetic sales to soar. She started off part time at Macy's in San Leandro and eventually became a manager at the Nordstrom's San Francisco at Union Square. She outsold her California colleagues earning her the distinction of Pace Setter within the company. She eventually transferred to Pleasanton when her family moved out of the Bay Area and spent decades nourishing relationships with clients and coworkers who became friends and friends who became family.

Danielle was a radiant person and the light her soul exuded lives in many of you reading this today. She had an unwavering sense of adventure and always loved to explore new destinations. She loved music and could routinely be found dancing and making new friends at a Rod Stewart or Bruce Springsteen concert. She took great pride in her home and poured herself into projects that beautified it to her high standards. She loved Broadway shows, fine dining, classic movies, gardening, crafting, and her dogs. Danielle had a sense of humor that would lower anyone's guard and sparked joy in all those in her presence. Danielle had a huge heart coupled with zero tolerance for anyone's nonsense and would always stand up for herself and those
she loved.

Through all of Danielle's joys and accomplishments, all were secondary to her family. She loved her husband and children more than life itself and this manifested constantly with birthday parties, family dinners and Christmases that were beyond magical. She was the perfect matriarch of a family who loves her dearly.
