Lynn Lawson

Joseph Lynn Lawson, age 37, died November 3, 1993, in Bountiful, Utah, of cancer.

He was born August 18, 1956, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Joseph Kearns and Marlene Burningham Lawson. He married Melody Anne King, August 21, 1982, in the Jordan RiverTemple. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and fulfilled a mission in the Japan Kobe Mission. Held positions as teacher, ward clerk, priest's advisor, and also was an Eagle Scout. He was a creative person who especially loved to be with friends and family.

He attended BYU. Graduated from the University of Utah and Washington University School of Dental Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri; was a member of Omirron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society, Member of Utah Dental Assn., and American Dental Assn. He loved his work as a practicing dentist in Bountiful.

Survived by his wife, and four sons, Jeremy Lynn Lawson, Jason Lane Lawson, Justin Kearns Lawson, Joshua Kurtis Lawson; and parents, all of Bountiful; one brother and two sisters, William Kearns (Sheralee) Lawson, Centerville; Jolene (Mark) Casper, Woods Cross; Kathy (Don) Milligan, Bountiful; grandmother Vonda Burningham, Bountiful; also aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
