Ellen Loring (Fleury) (Taylor)

Ellen Susanne Taylor died Wednesday, March 25th, 2015 of causes related to pneumonia. Born February 15, 1956, Giessen, Germany, to Ronald E. and Luzie Fischer Loring. She was raised in Bountiful, Utah. Graduated 1974, Bountiful High School. Married Timothy Fleury, 1976, later divorced. Proud mother to son Phillip and daughter Vanessa. Married Charles Taylor, 1994.

Received Nursing Certificate from Weber State College. Received Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, summa cum laude, from Westminster College. Her nursing career was diverse, including positions at LDS Hospital, IHC, Huntsman Cancer Institute, Utah Cancer Specialists, Bayer Diagnostics (Convergys), Sutter Physician Services, etc. Ellen loved animals, and had cared for many pets throughout her life. She also loved her garden, and could often be found sitting in the dirt, pulling weeds, sowing seeds, enjoying the beautiful sights & scents that her labors bore.

Survived by mother Luzie Loring; husband Charles; son Phillip (Melinda) Fleury; sister Nanette (Jeff) Carvalho, Federal Way, WA; grandson, Parker Fleury; Auntie to Chloe & Chase Carvalho. Step-mother to: Rebecca Taylor; Rachel (Adam) Rasmusen; Eric (Lindsey) Taylor. Step-grandmother to: Tyecha & Tyson Taylor; Ryder, Whitney & Kyler Rasmusen.

Preceded in death by father Ronald Loring; daughter (and best friend), Vanessa; and favorite cat, Marie.
