Kathrynn Pettey Becerra

1955 ~ 2007

Kathrynn Pettey Becerra, age 51, died January 22, 2007, in Riverton, Utah from complications of diabetes resulting in an accidental fall. Kathie was born December 19, 1955 to James A. and Irene Hansen Pettey. She graduated from Bountiful High School in 1974. Kathie married Brad T. Jefferies in 1974 and with him had three children, Jarrod, Tara and Tyler; they were later divorced. In 1987 Kathie married Juan T. Becerra. They had two children together, Zach and Caleb. They were divorced after 17 years. Kathie loved scrap booking, painting ceramics and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. Kathie found great comfort in her many loving and caring friends. They were always close to her heart. Kathie is survived by her daughter Tara (David) Names, sons Tyler (Dolly) Jefferies, Zach and Caleb Becerra, grandsons Jonathan and Dylan Jefferies and Isaac Names, sister Sharlene (Richard) Packer and brother Richard (Ila) Pettey and mother Irene (Roger) Brown. She was preceded in death by her son Jarrod Jefferies, brothers Bradley and Paul Pettey and father James Pettey. There will be a visitation Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 So. 900 East, Murray, Utah. A graveside service will be held at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, Utah at 2:00 p.m. Kathie will be dearly missed by all her family, friends and "special angels" who knew and loved her. Kathie's family would like to thank you for your love and support.
