Bonnie, thank you for sharing the stories and pictures of Win and your lovely family. It was shocking and saddening to learn of Win's death. He left us much, much too soon. Thanks for filling in the blanks for us as his classmates. We always wonder about the circumstances, and feel a great sense of collective loss.
Even though I did not know Win well in high school, he was always friendly and of course we saw a lot of him since he was a yell leader.
I hope you and your family are finding comfort and strength as time passes, knowing Win is well and that his friendly ways and kindness made a difference to those if us who shared our high school days with him. May you be blessed!

To the entire family of Win:
What I remember of Win was that he was a very friendly person and made no descretion on who his friends were. As what remember about Win also was he was always laughing and smiling.
I just you all to always remember him as he was and not how he is. As we go forth on to the next world we always say that he will be doing his work there with what he was'nt able to do here. We all miss him but Iwant to remember about him what he was like. Our blessings are with your entire family, as we the Class of 74 will remember him and surley miss him.
I was very shocked to hear of his passing. Thank you Bruce Wood for sharing the info.

Wow, what a powerful and true song. It hits so close, it is still sinking in that he is gone and not coming back... Thank you for sharing this. Some songs just capture your emotions. At Win's funeral our son Mark sang and played "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd on his acoustic guitar Win gave him as a teenager. I heard even grown men were having trouble holding back the tears... Thank you for your thoughtfulness.
