
Laurie Talbot Howell, 50 was called home unexpectedly on September 5,
2006. Laurie was born on March 25, 1956 in Bountiful, Utah to Frank & Carolyn Talbot. She is survived by her best friend and loving husband Clayton, her five children, Matthew (Coza) Howell, Kirsty (Chris) Nash, Shandi (Brad) Trout, Richard and Callie Howell, her brothers Todd and Dan Talbot, sister Jennilyn Talbot and grandson Evrett Nash. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Talbot and two brothers, Bill and Steve. She graduated from BYU in Music Education where she met her husband, Clay. They were married on July 7, 1977 at the Salt Lake City Temple. They moved to Arizona where they chose to raise their family. Laurie was a dedicated music teacher at Brimhall Jr. High for a number of years and recently had been running her own business. She is well known for her church service with choirs and primary children, her enthusiasm for sports, ability to teach, and her love of life. She excelled at everything she did. She will be remembered for her fun cheerful nature, natural leadership and great smile. She was a mother to all who knew her. Her viewing will be held on Sunday, September 10, from 7-9 pm at the LDS church, Maplewood Ward Building on 18305 S. Greenfield Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85296 and 1 hour prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2006 at 10 am at the LDS Church, Maplewood Ward at 18305 S.
