Brian and I both attended Oak Hills elementary school, but by far my favorite memory of Brian is during the Vandermeide (remember the hypnotist??) assembly. Brian, under hypnosis, strutted across the stage as if he were in a beauty pageant. It was unforgettable!

I found out last month about Brians passing from a neighbour who lives in Green River Kevin Stapps sister.  It was sad to hear of his passing played with him as kids and later in school and church he will be missed.

Just weeks before Brian died, he came to me with a request to help he and his son build a car for the Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby. His son, Devlin, Brian, and I put together a racer that not only won first place for speed, but also first place for apperance. That car, and a photo album with many pictures of his life was on a stand a the funeral home. In my life, I have never been so chocked up as that moment. Love you Brian, we did become brothers with a prick of the finger, a mixture of blood and an oath to be friends always.
