Mechanic in auto and heavy equipment for a while, bought some heavy equipment, Dozer, scraper, ect., and tried that a while.Built custom and spec homes for years. My kids and I bought rent houses and built an apartment complex and sold out of that. Built Jan and myself 4 new homes and I'm just finishing this one. Everyone is on their own now so we built a 2500 sq., ft., one bedroom!! ( Grandkids fit on the floor somewhere!)Not really. We built my daughter a new home and gave them an acre in one corner for their wedding gift. My son and I built a shop out back and build hot rods and do restorations for a hobby. We built horse bits, and spurs and buckles from scratch for 19 years and over laid gold and silver on them and hand engraved all of it. My Boy and I have a full machine shop, welding, paint and body, and mechanic outfit in our shop to do the hot rods. This is my 30th year this fall to run 150 to 250 mile long commercial longline trap lines in several different states every fall. I make and sell my own animal attractant baits and lures. Just love life and my trapping. My boy grew up trapping with me and is very professional at it. My boy still goes with me alot. I kept lifting weights until 89 I think, and wish now I hadn't. Jan is the most amazing gal in the world, (my world), and she's the reason for our perfect lives together. I thank God daily for Jan and the family she gave us.
I have alot of memories and all good. As you can tell from above comments, I never was one to do something very long. Gets too boring for me. The one I get a kick out of was when Leland Grubb tackled some guy at a football game and when he hit him head on he raised up and the guy rolled over Lelands back, hit the ground on his feet and headed for the goal line! The BEST thing that ever happened to me at school was meeting and marrying the most beatiful, caring, and loving woman on Gods earth! We still get along like two teenagers madly in love. Then she gave me my perfect family.( Glad they got her traits). We travel some, but enjoy just being at home together. We've been to alot of the states and most of the national parks, went to Alaska for one of our anniversaries and a second honeymoon. Tahoe for another. Still not much of a people person! Never knew I was so windy, did ya?
