Hiya, Steve! I see that you moved - what brought that on? (Maybe grandchildren?) Others of my Cavalier friends have moved back to MD this year, including Linda Ballangee-Sulzer and Ed Patterson ('66). I wouldn't mind being one of those returning, but as long as my big brother is still in Annapolis, I can dream & have regularly sent photos. Hope all is well!
After losing touch with my friend Bill for way too many years (last conversation was at the 20th reunion!), I was not surprised to find the obituary article which filled me in on those lost years. Same ol' Bill. He remained the kind, happy, friendly, compassionate guy we knew and loved, and never let his MS disability get in the way. We Cavaliers will miss Bill, along with the rest of the world who had the joy of having his influence in their lives.
Wow! It's about time you reconnected with some of us!! I have looked for you regularly. No reunion for me. My simple reply was that I still had 3 children (adopted) in high school, who couldn't be left with Jim by himself. Since my simple answer, there have been three surgeries, a police report, three changes of schools & two residence changes, bullying, none of which are mine, thank God for that. Staying a little too busy right at the moment....
Sorry to be missing you. I hope you will be posting a photo here or joining us on the facebook Crossland sites - and don't get lost again.
Do you keep up with Teddy at all? Hugs & best wishes.

-Comment allez-vous?
-Très bien, et vous Mme?
-Joyeux anniversaire, Diana! Et bien d'autres encore!
I LOVE remembering what I can of the French language!
We are adoptive parents also. Three grown sons of our making, and then a sibling group of three came to be with us. They are all still in high school, and quite needy. Hence, the reason for my non-attendance at the reunion. This is my version of a "who'da thought?" moment in time. My faith is much stronger since my high school days at Bell's Methodist, not necessarily because of the kiddos, but because I am totally committed. I will say that I don't take my parenting "failures" as badly as I used it once I give it all to God..... Yay!
Hugs to you, my friend!!

Hey Steve. It's Mardie from Senior Prom '68. Ron & I are still friends after all these years. It was nice to double date with you & your date. And then I moved to Chicago right away & you dropped off the map. Did you marry her? (I see your wife is a '69 grad.) we have plenty of our class members in Florida, but I might be the only one in OK.
Add photos, if you can, and if you're on Facebook, there are 2 CHS alumni groups that are for our class.
Take care. Glad to see you popped back up! Happy New Year!

Good to see you Becky! Yours is a full and bountiful life of family.... and more family! Hope you're doing well, and that retirement has been good to you.
