I've been working all my life since 1969 and was always looking forward to my retirement. I retired from UPLB in 1999 (30 yrs in service) and in FAO of the United Nations in 2006 (7 yrs). Now that I have retired, I am looking forward to work again ..ha ha ha ha !! It's really hard pala when you are used to work and then you will stop. At the beginning it's so nice but then you will get bored...so, just to do something useful,I am helping my husband in his business as manufacturer of laboratory furnitures and equipment. I have to study little accounting and management.. ha ha ha..start all over again..

High school days have lots of good memories and funny ones. The most scary was when we were having a retreat, the girls escaped to attend a jam session and made me a front to the sisters to make all sort of allibis. I thought I would fail in Character and Conduct if the sisters would discover the truth...Heaven knows how hard I prayed that moment.... ha ha ha!
My PE was most memorable because of folk dancing and volley ball. I love it a lot! I can not forget the choir,too, the Glee Club, practicing between hectic schedules especially during Christmas season when we had to sing at the Simbang Gabi. Our activities in Girl Scouting and 4H Club were superb. I reached different places as far as Cebu to represent our school, having only fifty pessos in my pocket for ten days camping.
The most memorable was at the graduation rite when my real father and my foster father both appeared on the stage to pin my medal..I was so surprised but very nervous as to who will pin the medal. I do not remember who finally pinned the medal!
