Committee Members - Great job! The reunion was really nice. Thank you for all of your hard work making it happen.

Fellow Classmates - It was nice seeing everyone. We really had a good group of people in our class. It was also really nice to see some of our teachers.

To Debbie and Kathy and all the girls on the committee...WONDERFUL reunion! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! :) What an outstanding job...you all worked so hard. It was so good to see so many people I haven't seen in years. It was like I had never left. Everyone made me feel so welcome. All the nervousness went away once I got there Saturday morning for the ladies brunch. The memory part of the reunion was so touching and there were a lot of tears but it was sweet.

I hope that this website continues so everyone can stay in touch and for those of you who missed the reunion, there is talk of perhaps another one...I think.

The highlight of my evening was getting to dance with Debbie's mop! lol...just kidding... I enjoyed everything..thanks again for everything girls..you're the best!! :)

Wow......can't believe it's over...I just had an awesome time all weekend. I was so glad to see everyone, and just felt that everyone had a good time visiting with each other. I was standing next to Wayne Friday night and said to him "How can we be in our 50's???" Sometimes that just seems unbelievable to me. Thanks to everyone for all of the hard work put in to make this weekend happen. I think it turned out to be just great, a beautiful setting Fri.night.. and Saturday night things just looked so elegant. I love you all and want to keep in touch....

Debbie,

About the mop...that was hilarious! If there had been a broom, I would have gotten out there with you...sort of reminds me of that commercial "Baby Come Back"... My original plan was to tap you on your shoulder like I was butting in to have my chance to dance with the mop. I felt like a kid again. Been a long time since I've laughed so hard....had a great time! By the way, I have a picture of you with the mop and one with me with the mop. I promise I won't publish them. :)

So glad you and your gorgeous wife made it. It meant a lot to all of us...this was to Harold, not Sandy (lol!)

It is a deal, Sandy. The broom would have had to smell better than that mop. Yuck!

Jane Hutchison (Cooper)

We may have made it back to North Carolina, but it feels as though I should still be there! It felt surreal at times looking into all the faces of former (LONG AGO!) classmates. Thank you to ALL of you on the committee (and the spouses of the committee members!!) who worked so hard for so long to make the reunion VERY special. Your efforts really showed. Thank you for including me. It felt wonderful to be remembered and welcomed and to be allowed to reconnect with you. I loved talking to each and every one of you, but I wished it could have lasted longer!
Debbie, you deserved to dance with any ole thing you wanted,(no offense, guys!) and I would have been terribly disappointed if I had missed THAT!)
Love and God's blessings until we all meet again!
Jane

Debbie & Kathy, I never went to my high school reunion because I didn't feel I belonged because I quit school in the 12th grade, (since have received my college degree) but seeing the people that went to school with you guys that didn't actually graduate with you having such a good time reliving those years that they did have with you guys touched me very much. You guys went all out in the planning the reunion and I am so glad that I talked Billy into going. He was glad he went to after he got there. We really enjoyed every aspect of it. Sheila, we enjoyed you taking us down memory lane. Some of the things you shared we had forgotten about. Again thanks for letting me be a part of something so special. Debbie

I now have a happy reason to return to my home town. Friends from the past have filled my heart with joy.

I think we all have more reasons to visit our hometown again. Old friends and new memories. I am so glad to have spent this last weekend with you all.
Classmates and spouses of classmates, teachers and friends, it has been wonderful. We can not let so long go by again without staying in touch.
How did we drift so far apart to begin with?
I thank you all for whatever part you played in planning, clean up and just for being there. Without you all there, the rest would have been for naught.
love ya all
kathy
