I agree with Renee. The pictures are great and I wish we could have more times we could all be together. There just was not time enough to catch up with everyone in one night.
Maybe next time we can have less preparing and more time to visit.
I miss everyone.

Joyce Sampson Hi Deb!I need some prayers to go up for me! Iam going to have a cat scan done! The doctor found a mass in my chest!He wants to rule out maligancy! He thinks I have a collasped lung! I have put it in Gods hands and I know he will look over me! Please put prayers out for me!I will let you know what happens! Thanks.

The city of Memphis was trying to annex the area I lived in about 12 years ago. There was a town hall meeting and I was interviewed for the news.

Also, I sat in the front row of the Country Music Awards about 15 years ago and the camera panned over me and my friend.

Thus, my brief brushes with celebrity!

I am on one of the St. Jude programs that they air from time to time....part of this was filmed while we were there for a memorial service that they have yearly for some of the kids who didn't make it...in the video, I'm looking at a scrapbook that I kept of all of the newspaper clippings and memorabilia that I have from that time, and Brantley's nurses are looking at it with me. Also, one time Brantley and I got to meet baseball players from the Negro Baseball League at St. Jude. He really loved that and he got their autographs and it was televised. Another time I was on TV is when Rick and I went to Los Angeles and went to "The Price is Right"...you can see us in the audience and then another year we went back and went to the "Ellen Degeneres" show and Rick WON the dancing contest...unbelievable..he was doing a 70's Saturday Night Fever type of dance....they gave him a T-shirt that says "I danced with Ellen"......

I was on TV twice. Once as a advertisement for Action Realty and once for a telethon for donations for PBS learning station.

Yes, Sarah was in the hospital with Swine Flu (apparently) but is much better now. Renee is with her grandchildren. Keep them in your prayers, but it looks like Sarah is out of the woods.
