Sarah is much better and I appreciate your prayers. SHe had a hysterectomy last week and had the swine flu this thurs. Went back to the hospital with very high temp and in a lot of pain. If she didn't run any temp last night she may get to come home this afternoon. I am with the girls and haven't talked to her today. Thurs was very scary but thank God she is better.

Sarah came home sat afternoon, is weak but so much better now. The nurse said they had not seen anyone recover from such a bad case of swine flu as fast as she had. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
Funny seeing the kindergarten pic from the Presbyterian church on the home page. I'm in the middle and now I teach nursery school there.

Renee, Joyce and All,
Glad to hear Sarah is doing better, and the best of treatment to you Joyce. Docs can do wonderful things with health issues nowadays, I speak from experience. Take care of yourself and do what the Doctors say, but it is ok to get a second opinion, too.

There is a shortage of seasonal swine flu now; we have H1N1 vaccine, and are supposed to get more seasonal sometime this month. News media is stirring up the fear-factor so lots more people are getting flu shots than have in the past, not a bad thing, unless you want a flu shot and cannot get one. It will work out. Take care everyone, and have a great November! sbm

Billy said thank you for all the birthday wishes. We had a wonderful weekend. My sister and her husband came over from Cleveland, TN. My grandkids won first place in the Halloween parade, we went to eat at Lakeview Saturday night and Sunday morning went to eat at Perkins. It is now time to rest before work tomorrow.

Thank you for your prayers and concern. Sarah is doing so much better that it's hard to believe that just last week she was so very sick.

Hi all that read the message forum. I would like to ask for prayers. I have not been feeling well for quite some time. I hope to get an appointment for a physical soon. It could be the medicine I am taking for cancer. Not sure. Aches, pains, bone pain, and the list goes on. Thank you. Debbie

Debbie, we will remember you in prayer. I also would like for you to remember me, not for illness, but for my job. For the first time in 17 years, this job is getting to me. I keep thinking that it will get better, but it gets worse.

I will certainly keep all of you in my prayers, and I need yours. My job is also getting to me. I know that God will provide all that I need and will give me nothing that He doesn't provide the way for me to do. But the day to day is hard. I have been moved to another dept and the physical part of the job is much more than I am used to, but the main thing is the tension throughout the whole plant. They say we are "restructuring for provitablity" and what that means is there are many people losing their jobs and many wage decreases as well as postion changes. It would not surprise me that if something doesn't change soon, the company will be out of business in 6 months. I have been at this job 22 years and would hate to lose my retirement although I know we can survive financially if we have too.
Thanks for all the support I have seen from everyone toward me and others also.

Hi everyone....I have a new granddaughter, Emmalyn Claire Greer, born Wednesday Nov. 11th....baby and Mommie are doing great. I'm very thankful. On a bit of a sad note, the same day, about an hour before the baby was born, my little Yorkshire terrier who I have had since the week after my son died 9 yrs ago, died. I had a very emotional day. Maggie (my doggie) was a very good addition to our family and was a great companion for us at a time when we were so sad. I will miss her...I guess it's the Circle of Life, huh? (Remember "The Lion King")

Awwwww....thanks Linda....she is very sweet. Gabby has been such a little helper to Kim (she also helps quite a bit with Haley). Haley is just not quite sure what to make of all of this.
