Joe Degraaf

After high school I moved away and spent the next several years living in Salt Lake City. In 2001 I decided to move back to Cedar to go back to school at SUU. I met my wife Kristy at SUU that summer right after she graduated. After a lengthy courtship of a few months we got married and moved back to Salt Lake in search of better employment. I worked and attended SLCC for a couple of years then moved to Logan where I transfered to USU and graduated with a BFA in graphic design. We moved back to Cedar in 2007 and both of us have been having a great time getting to know new and old friends again. You know like everyone else that left Cedar High, I swore I would never come back here, but you know it really is a great place to live.

Some of my best memories are from when I was in high school. I know I wasn't the best student, but I did spend a lot of time having fun building relationships with friends that for the most part I have stayed in contact with until this day. I am grateful for this experience because by the time I got to collage I was married and had kids, so I didn't get the traditional college experience.
