Tom, best wishes for a happy birthday. Great to hear what you’re up to. Would love to connect to hear about your WWII history.

Happy birthday, Janelle! I still have the gazebo ashes in memory of you and Clay. Wondering about the most apt spot to scatter them someday. Perhaps by the bell tower? Hope all is will with you and family. Hi to George.

Jim, of the entire class of '67, you may have done the best job of maintaining your hairline and still being recognizable by your high school photo. Thanks for your efforts to keep our class in touch. Best birthday wishes!
Rob, can't believe I missed your day. Thinking about your writing reminded my of another great physician/poet. One of my all time favorites is "The Ivy Crown" by William Carlos Williams.
Happy 75th and happy 2024.
Tim, hope the 75th is a great day for you. Best wishes for the year ahead from out west.
Peter,
Many thanks for your memorial to Francis. There were so many great people in Cedar Rapids. I knew many at Kenwood, McKinley and Washington but the In Memorium comments show clearly that there were many, many more wonderful people that I never became well acquainted with. Thank you for opening my eyes to another exemplary classmate.

Ed, I sent an email to your work e-mail address and got an automated response that they had never heard of any Ed Johnson and I should never bother them again about him. So I'm reduced to sending belated birthday wishes through this site. Hope it was a good day.
So sorry I missed your very day. Very best, if belated, wishes to an enthusiastic cookie baker :-)
Russ, this one's coming by Pony Express so it takes an extra day. It was great to see you and visit at the reunion. Best wishes for another good year.

Rob, I just chanced upon the poem you posted about washing the feet of a homeless man. It’s beautiful. Thank you for sharing it.

Happy birthday, Fred. Hope this day finds you well and enjoying beautiful Flagstaff. I also hope you found your 7th Grade picture from Jim Lemme's stash of McKinley homeroom photos. Weren't we a great bunch then!

Wow! Where did you find those McKinley 7th grade photos? I even recognized a lot of those handsome guys and lovely gals. It was a treat to page through them all.
Thanks, Jim. Way to go!!!
May Day and birthday greetings, Doug. It was great to see you in Cedar Rapids. Come to Salt Lake sometime and I'll treat at Hruska's for some truly great kolaches.
