I met Jim in the 3 rd grade when we moved to the southeast side and started attending Buchanan school. We remained close friends through junior and senior high school. We cruised the avenue together relentlessly. We double dated occasions. Jim was my best man at my wedding. After I got out of the service, we picked up our friendship where we left off. Now we're married with kids and played cards together with our wives. Jim and hunted a lot together along with trap shooting and some hand gun shooting. After retirement my wife and I moved south but we remained friends all these years. We always tried to get together when we visited CR. Jim was a great man and miss him dearly.
