Biography
David Pascoe was elected Solicitor for the First Judicial Circuit and took the Oath of Office on January 14th, 2005.
Solicitor Pascoe graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Citadel in 1989 and from the University of South Carolina School Of Law in 1993. After graduating Law School, Solicitor Pascoe went to work as a State Prosecutor with both the Fifth Circuit Solicitor’s Office and Attorney General’s Office. As a State Prosecutor, he has successfully tried over two hundred violent crime cases in front of juries across the state, including a murder trial where the body was never found. As our First Circuit Solicitor, he has successfully obtained a death penalty sentence on two defendants.
Solicitor Pascoe served as President of the South Carolina Solicitor’s Association from 2011 until 2013. He and his wife Kristen have been married 24 years. They reside in St. Matthews with their three sons.
