Since graduating, I graduated from College of Charleston in 1993 and began teaching at St. Paul's Country Day School. In 1997, I married Kristie Nelson from Cottageville. In October of 2000, Alexander James was born and the following year we moved to Summerville. In 2002, I moved to Timberland High School, where I taught for four years. While at Timberland High School, Abigail Marie was born in July 2003 and Andrew Dean was born in September 2005. In 2006, I had the opportunity to move to Fort Dorchester High School and I am currently teaching High School Science and serving as Student Council Advisor at the Fort. In 2004, I returned to Camp Ho Non Wah, the local Boy Scout Camp on Wadmalaw Island and have been serving as the summer camp director for the past several summers. I am still involved with the Scouting Program both at a local, regional and national level.
