I loved this gal! Her spunk, her spirit, her energy were amazing right up until the end. She was dedicated to her family and friends, and was always there for any of us who needed her. She was a big reason the class of '59 has held together this long. We miss her. Pam

Mayme, We will have to have this one without you...seems impossible. You were one great gal. Thanks for being such a good friend. I always knew it was you calling because you are the only one who called me "Blackie."
Miss you. Judy

Mayme Jo was the spirit of everything that was the best of Harding High. A class reunion without her will be like a day without the warm rays of the sun. If heaven needs some "live action" pumped into it, she will be just the person to do it. You will always live in our hearts and memories.

Mayme Jo, Of all the people I've met you carried the school spirit of what Harding was all about. The close-knit bond that every person has that attended Harding, it made no difference whether you were a 7th grader or a senior. You didn't have to be a football player or cheerleader to feel like you were part of the school. Mayme, I'll always carry you in my heart!! Thanks for being the glue that held us together. "Cates"

If you ever wanted to have a "Spirit Day", all you had to do was look up Mayme. She didn't have to do anything to make it happen, she just was .... A reunion without Mayme leaves a big gap in our gathering, but she will never be forgotten.

Mayme Jo, We managed to have the reunion without you being there. We talked about you and missed you so very much.
