Triathlon

Good news from the "Go 60's RAMS TRIATHLON TEAM". First our teammate and classmate "Cooter" Hardman came thru his prostate surgery with flying colors. No chemo or radiation needed. He's recovering at home. Jimmy Caldwell and Lynn Benson competed in the "TRI BALLENTYNE" triathlon Sat July 16. Lynn did the swim and Jim did the bike.Lynn's oldest daughter did the run. Won no awards but had a ball and plan to do more.If any of you HARDING RAMS would like to try or "tri" some of this stuff,let us know & we'll help get you involved.

We're calling'em out. Where's Nikki Helms or Ken Parks, or Gary Williams or Dean Helms, how about Joe Christenbury or Lanny Vessels, Leroy Holden is too young but we'll take him on too bring Boyce Parks with you. Where's Jimmy Hawkins when we need him? Or any other of you harding rams. THE HARDING RAMS ARE BACK IN THE GAME! ON JULY 16,2011 AT BALLANTYNE COUNTRY CLUB IN SOUTH CHARLOTTE THE "GO 60'S HARDING RAMS" TRIATHLON TEAM WILL COMPETE .JIM CALDWELL,COOTER HARDMAN,AND LYNN BENSON MAKE UP THE TEAM. LYNN WILL START WITH A 300 YARD SWIM, JIM FOLLOWES WITH A 12.7 MILE BIKE AND COOTER FINISHES WITH A 3.1 MILE RUN.WITH COMBINED AGES OF 207 YEARS,THERE SHOULD BE A MEDAL FOR JUST SHOWING UP!!!!!
