I went to Va Tech with plans to teach French but the closer I got, the more I knew I didn't want to. Came home and went to work at Centel/Sprint in the Payroll Department. I stayed there for 25 years in various departments but just couldn't take the Business Office any more. I moved to Lexis Publishing but they moved Customer Service to Albany, NY. My next work experience was at SNL Financial and I stayed there until I retired on April 5, 2013. I'm active in my church and the choir and am an Associate Member of the North Garden Volunteer Fire Company. I am the administrator of a Food Pantry at my church through the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
Warren and I love to travel and we've been to some great places in the United States. We're planning an Alaska cruise/tour in June for our early 35th anniversary.
