John Summers

Given our Su... and St... surnames, Mike and I shared homeroom with Mrs. Carter.

Mike was a really nice guy.   Pretty funny at times as I recall.  He also grew one of the best moustaches of anyone in high school at the time.   I was envious.   It took me a year into college to match his facial hair.

I lost track of him after high school.  I don't remember him at any of the reunions and I didn't know he still lived in Chattanooga.

Sorry of hear of his passing.  

I'm sorry to see Susan's name listed on this page.   She and I traveled from Normal Park, to Northside, to City together.   Always nice, always kind.

It was a lot of fun visiting and sharing stories with everyone at this year's 50th Reunion. We should do so more regularly if we can. Keep it simple.

Saw his picture on the Memorium board at the reunion a few weeks ago..

Alan was part of a small group of drummers who started our drum lessons at Northside Jr. High that including Danny Jones and myself.   We took a lot of lessons together.  We played in the band together at Northside and at City.   I lost track of him after hight school.  I can't recall seeing him at a reunion.  Does anyone know his story?

Not only did I go to Northside Baptist Church with Kim, as did Jerry and Ricky Poe and Rachel Dean, where Kim and I sang in the Youth Choir together, I also went to Normal Park, Northside Jr. and City together for a total of twelve years.  

He was often quite, but always nice to everyone.
