Glad to hear Andy is okay. We have looked at the cruise out of San Juan and it just doesn’t work since we are basically doing the same cruise out of Ft. Laud. On RCCL the following month. It has been booked and paid for already since before we received the notice Keep us aprised of future plans.

After many Mea Culpa's and being chastised several times by Farrell and Carpenter, I've finally gotten the cruise pictures up in the Photo Gallery.  Be sure, when you click on the pictures to enlarge them, read the captions in the loiwer left hand corner.

Sorry guys, my own fault and procrestination that these weren't up sooner.  I will walk 5 punishment tours each day until the end of April.

If anyone has pictures they want to post, please send them too me and tell me when they were taken and what the occasion was and I'll get the up

Hi Guys! Linda just read me all your terrific thoughts. We have all heard about the power of prayer. I’m living and learning just how strong His will is. I really believe that you have made a difference. I don’t know what more I can say than Thank You!  I don’t think my recovery would b anywhere near where it is now without each and every one of your prayers and thoughts. I am now in rehab -it’s going well-I’m on my way back!

Hi everyone:

First - Andy, I'm adding my congratulations to you for advancing to the rehab stage.  After my mild heart attack two years ago with two stents - going to rehab was a welcome step forward.  Keep us all posted when you reach some of the rehab milestones.

Second - Col. Bill, your poem about the cruise was an awesome chronology that all of us that could not attend  can share in.  Thanks for the time an effort you put into crafting it for your troops.

Last but not least - Clark, Thanks for the great photos that you put up for us - cementing the memories for all that attended and building community for all that couldn't make this one.  Definately precious times for all of us now that we are senior - senior citizens.

Hi Andy;

Saw a commercial on TV that I thought may be of interest to you. It was about "The Lung Institute" and their work with stem cells to repair damaged lungs. Their telephone number is 800-460-LUNG. May b e worth a discussion if you haven't done so already. Stay strong Brother.

On this very special day I wish all my classmates a very Happy 4th of July and know that we all do live in the greatest country in the world.  We should all put aside our differences on this day and thank God we were born into this special world.  Inspite of the current insanity when it comes to politics I am confident that the basic liberties and freedom our forefathers established will prevail.  I also want to thank all those who have fought for our freedom.  The future will always be secure as long as this country has a strong military.  I thank all those who served and especislly those who gave their lives to protect our future. I salute you THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA !

The "BOYS" of New Jersey wish you all a "FOND HELLO" FROM THE GARDEN STATE.  It's my fault they're standing on their heads.  That's the way it copied over and I can't figure out how to turn it.  Ah, the vesisitudes of life,Clark

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I will name a few here but feel connected to everyone due to Clark's Website and Col Bills open-hearted and continuing awesome leadership.   Here are a few who recently contacted me - Hal Marshall, Col Bill, Ed Carpenter, Ted Zak, Joe Kielb, Gordi Hanscom, Clark W, Dave Irons, plus Ed Farrel, Jerry J., Bob Grosch, Steve T. and especially Jay Repetto.

To reply to Gordi and Hal -  My reaching age 75 has been a turning point for Patricia and I.  We will not be taking our travel trailer to the Key West military campground for a month or three any more.  We will not be building a cabin on the 5 acres in Punta Gorda.  Nope - we are selling it all  !!! ...and settling into the next phase of being a concealed carry, tired senior citizen, south bound snow bird from the frozen north wilderness of Trump country and who is continualy being annoyed by the brain-dead activities of our Democrat Governer Cuomo (who is more disappointing than his father was as Governer).

For the 2020, we have booked a series of cabins near the beach at military facilities in the Pensicola, FL area for February and March.  (It is reassuring ... knowing that the folks at the gate of these senior communities - all carry pistols, full auto rifles and are looking forward for someone to make their day a bit more interesting.) The cabins rent for $70 to $100 a day, have a full kitchen, bath, living room, bedroom  and sleep 6.  Our kids can come for a winter break if they choose to.  Larry and Cindy (friends that live about 30 miles from us here in NYS) have also booked cabins, so we will have folks to share time with and have back-up if a problem occurs.

We live in the Finger Lakes region of New York State (Painted Post, NY) .  Like most folks, summer is yard work, minor house and garage repair and taking a short sightseeing trip each month.  Now and then we spend a day floating down a nearby river in our canoe looking for bears, storks and other wild life.

There are websites that list 2 and 3 bedroom condos for about $80 a day in cities in Florida that have good beaches.  The websites also list private vacation apartments for about $60 dollars a day.  Plus, there is the Trusted HouseSitter website where one can watch a house free while the owner is away on vacation (most of these involve feeding a dog or cat or even horses).  I can operate farm equipment and would rather dump a bale of hay into a feeder once every few days.  These are all options that are out there.

I don't mind letting go and sliding into this next stage of life.  Reclining on the beach in the shade of a palm tree or pop-up shelter and listening to the waves  - with a good book and a cooler full of iced tea, gin and tonic and snacks is what we have been doing in Florida all along.

The good thiing was that the 26 foot travel trailer only cost $7,000, required no major repairs and everything still works in it. We were able to sell it for $2,000 after using it for 2-3 months a year for 15 years.  The land has more than doubled in value so we are out from under everything with enough cash to rent places to stay for the next 10 years.

Everyone (especially a furrier in Arizona and the mysterious Mr. D who often spends time in eastern Europe) should share some observations and insights now and then with their tired old, senior citizen PMC buddies.  We all  have a story or two that will build community and be darned interesting.     My best to all.              Henry Faryna.

Just in case you didn't see it on Face Book, Ted Zak (TZ) had back surgery yesterday.  Janice posted that surgery went well.  Now we need to pray for a speedy recovery and for Janice as she deals with TZ as a patient.  God Bless all our wives with what they have to put up with from us "Boys" who never seem to grow up.

Hey Ted: Glad to hear your back surgery went well and hope you will be up and kicking again soon. (Clark Wonderland advised he saw the message on FACEBOOK, which I don't have and wouldn't have.) It is hard anymore to find someone from our class that hasn't had some kind of surgery lately so now you can scratch that off your "bucket list"! Our prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.
