Oh, my- YES happy Easter and Passover. Everything else - we are all fine. To each his own.

Oh man oh man - looks like I missed some good conversation! Right up my alley - but suffice it to say that could Chas and I sit at the same table so that we may carry on this delicious conversation quietly and most politely? Ha! (but seriously!) Mark Harold, too! I always imagine that I personally will have lots of fun in the ole nursing home because I will have lots of crotchety (sp) old men who are CONSERVATIVE RIGHT WING NUTS LIKE ME! to hang with - until then I plug along and do what I can - however I can - it's just my thing - always has been, always will. And, last word, this wonderful American experiment was founded by people who argued, yelled, agreed then disagreed and eventually came together and wrote some amazing documents that we live by today. Still worth arguing over and protecting with our lives! The end! And I know that the 20th reunion was just a bunch of Lancers coming together and catching up with our lives and reflecting (remember Wendy Burke's song to the senior class?) and I am confident that the 30th will be more of the same, which is wonderful. Now, Chas, I am going to say the rest to you in code **********????))){{{{**** Okay? Just kidding Have a great Easter everybody!!

Oh another couple things:

First, Panty raids - Karen, for some reason guys (at other schools) had nothing better to do than jump in a car and drive to Mary Washington and bring back a "prize" to their buddies or fraternities. Quite strange but always a good reason to clean out your lingerie drawer and of course, these days the lucky guys get those undies (we all know what they are) that the girls wear now a days!!!!

Second, Peggy, I am hugely disappointed that we cannot secure a hefty discount from your store but the least we can do is shop there and do some business! I, for one, will be first in line. I REALLY like the Smirnoff Cosmo complete mixed drinks - now THAT was a worthwhile invention!

I went to the Drive-in the other night and saw these ads for the Trunk Monkey. I'm thinking about buying a new car with a Trunk Monkey option.

Thank you Muffin. I was trying to say what you said about fighting for our constitution. I am not as tactfull. I like a good joke as much as anybody. I was just trying to say our screwed up government is no laughing matter. I meant no disrespect to Brian. I would like to drop it at that. I have a funny school story. Back in the eighth grade when Greg Little and I were like twins we learned to make a stink bomb out of match heads and a bic pen. One morning (years later in 1979) before the homeroom class bell I took one of these unique IED's to the library in the round building. The doors were still locked. I set the projectile under the door and lit the fuse. It blasted into the library and smoked up the whole room before anybody could open the doors. The smell was horrible. During the morning announcements our favorite assistant principal, Larry Elliot, said he was aware of who lit off the stink bomb. He offered the perpetrator an opportunity to receive a lesser punishment if they come to the office and save him the trouble of coming to get them. Who would be stupid enough to fall for a deal like that? Needless to say he never came to me. I would like to know how God got that much jerk stuffed into one man. Happy easter!!!!!!!!

Anything is possible with God, Mark. Why don't you go to the church where this meeting will be held and make a difference? We are in a pivotal moment in this country. We need to gather in places in great numbers so our Government will see we are serious in our commitment to be united. The government relies on our unwillingness to get involved. They write bills and pass laws without asking our permission because they know our primary concern is who is the next American Idol. We have given up on the notion we are a government "of the people". I also urge everybody to go to a tea party tomorrow if you can. Don't let our elected officials appoint themselves dictators. This is a situation we can resolve without guns. Yes. I said without guns. Anything can be settled peacefully. We need to get off our pessimistic asses and make some legitimate demands. Last year in our school our seniors stood up together and recited the lords prayer at commencement. There was not a single thing anybody could do. The crowd joined in. It was beautiful. Get involved Mark. It is as easy as posting a message on a web site. God Bless America!

Hey Kim. I sent invitations to Denny Burchette and Terry Loving Tizard. If name spelling is an important factor Ashby's last name is Stinson. Good luck and keep up the Great work. Thank you (and everyone) so much.

Hi ya'll - My brother Bobby, class of 76, is friends with Scott Barbour, I asked him to send me Shannon's info! Where in the World is Danny Applewhite whom I have known since 1st grade? Someone please find him - I did see him at the 20th - he was newly married and they were expecting their first baby!!!! Which would make that a 10 year old now - and that is the extent of my math skills!!!! Have a great weekend everyone!

Thanks, Kim! I personally look forward to "bugging" Danny real soon! Hey there Sarah Terry Wooten - glad you enjoyed the Tea Party in Shockhoe Bottom! And it's always good not to end up in jail, I suppose! But it would have been worth it that day - and considering the rain, jail would have at least been dry! (Just looking on the bright side). Hey, P.S. I saw on the news that if you are smiling in your senior year picture and depending on the scale ( 1 - 10 ) of your smile then you may or may not be happily married! Go figure! Always a new study about something!

Muffin,
