Wow, this one hits a little harder than others. Scott was a genuinely nice guy. I remember he sat behind me in Mr. tenBensel's geometry class and we became pretty good friends. In later years when I'd run into Scott while visiting in Cheyenne we'd always take the time to talk for a while and catch up on things. We'll miss you Scott.

After graduating, I used to always run into Scott around town when I used to visit Cheyenne each Christmas in the 80s and 90s.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear he had started his DJ business and thought that he had the right personality for it. Everybody liked him. Just like in high school, he was happy, approachable, and a genuine nice guy.

His company did the music for the 20-year reunion, I believe. It was due to him that April Gustafson and I got to dance one more time to The B-52's "Rock Lobster".

Here's to you, Scott.
