I went to work for Western Electric Company in Columbus in January, 1965. They sent me to Bell labs in Homdel, NJ where I wrote my first computer program in April of 1965. In April of 2010, I retired. In between, I worked at W. VA Wesleyan (teaching, coaching & computers), NCR in Dayton, MSDWT and Best Lock in Indianapolis, Berea College and a hospital system in KY.

This summer when back to my roots and grew a garden with our church to give veggies to the needy. We have picked 9 bushels of beans, 500 pound of squash, gobs of tomatoes and 14 dz ears of corn. I learned that my body was not built for gardening.
