Margaret A. (Peggy) Maxwell Shah

Graduated from Western College for Women in 1965. Went into the management training program for Mabley and Carew department store and became a buyer in 1970. Opened my own business with Ali Shah in 1972 in Clifton. Had 5 stores running at one time but always maintained the first store on short Vine in Corryville. Retired in 2001. We travel a lot and spend a good deal of time in California where Ali's children live with their families--we have 3 grand children. The oldest began her freshman year at Northern Arizona University after traveling with us to Europe for 3 weeks. We also have family in Northern England and spend a lot of time visiting with them. We also spend a lot of time trying to keep up with our house and 2.5 acres--it is a never ending job with no such thing as low maintenance.
