Hi Linda, Of course I remember you. The Mad Greek is down on Cedar/Fairmont (right guys?) across from where Best and Co. used to be. If you are heading DOWN the hill there towards where Case/WR is located...it will be on the left.

Please go and say HI to everyone from me.

Does anyone remember Sky Kings niece, Penny. How come everytime she was kidnapped and ended up captive in some box canyon ( what is a box canyon) she always had an airpleane radio so she could call uncle Sky?

Linda,

I will be flying into Cleveland on July 8. There is a gathering at Fishers Tavern on July 9 at 5:30pm.Sandy Beksa is my social secretary!! Ha Ha Sandy!! Keep working with the forum and join the good times!!

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU!!!! I really hope you can make it!!

What is a box canyon??Good question about Penny from Sky King. It seems Penny liked being boxed in bec she got stuck with some dark characters in almost every episode. Hmm, wonder what we might call her these days????

Just thought of something...when my Grandmother was over on the weekend, we had to watch Perry Como!!! Boy, I hated that show!!!!

Hi Guys, got another one for you, I used to have to watch the Lawrence Welk show when I went over my grandmother's house. OUCH!!

Beth - I used to be scared to death to look at my Shirley Temple doll's eyes for fear they would open and close after that episode.

Joyce - Loved your comments about the Lesly Gore song titles.

Linda - Do you remember me? We used to be neighbors. By the way, don't feel bad, I haven't been literate with computers until this website opened up.

Looking forward to seeing you all at Fishers Tavern on Monday!!

Adrian,
THAT is soooo funny..Had I only known it was not just me afraid of a doll; I could have saved thousands in therapy!!!

06/19/09 12:20 PM #1995

Steven A. Fox

Beth and Adrian
if you still had that doll in good shape you could sell it on Ebay and retire :)

06/19/09 01:08 PM #1996

Adrian Friedlander

Beth, I would have been first in line for the therapy.

Steve - It is in good shape, just burned the hair a little when I tried to iron it(told you I needed therapy)!!! But anyway, I don't have the original clothes, just a little dress my mother knitted for her. Wouldn't trade that for anything, even for early retirment.

CLARE,
PBS did a special for sale to the public.. my Man Don Gram produced years back in late 90s early 2000 that is still great fun to watch on DVD/PBS shows of the DOO-WOP Frankie Liman,Fats Domino,Jive 5,Gene Chanler,Jerry Butler, Harptones,Sky Linners,Chantels,Richie Valins, Cadalacs,Five Keys,Platters,Ink Spots,Little Antony and Imperials just to name a few old classics it was so $ successful that they proceeded ahead the folowing year and did a R@B classic show that was equaly great!Spinners,Delfonics,Temps,Intruders and alot more great old old school R@B! Over @ Out cold

Joel, Sometimes I think they still show that on pbs. Every now and then they have the various old musicians in concerts performing. How cool that you have such cool friends in addition to the cool Heights class of 69!

Sandy, who went today?

06/19/09 03:40 PM #2004

Charles, (Chuck) Balcher

To stimulate classmate interaction, on this site, maybe a little box can be added to the homepage, next to the student update box, listing the classmate who has a birthday today, this week or this month. Also, one for wedding aniversarys, so, we don't forget! At the reunion, our high school picture could be put along with our name. After dinner, we could set up 12 circles, like musical chairs, according to our birthday month or zodiac sign. Each circle would last for 5 minute intervals, at which time, 2 groups would combine. After each group had met with each other group, we would have all had the opportunity to meet everyone in the class. NEW AGE THINKING. Anyone else?

Chuck, you belong in California!!

Kenny, of course I'll be calling home on Sunday. Did you ever have any doubt. There'd be hell to pay if I didn't.

You know that I remain a creature of habit.
