Hi all,

YES, Yours Truly sounds good for Sunday morning, wish I was still in Cleveland and could join you. I am back in Fort Myers and to work this past Wednesday. The heat is unbearable!!!

Scott, sorry you were out of town when I was there, maybe the next time.

Adrian, Rita, Gracia and Sandy, do you still find yourself staring???????

Louie, you really ought to host a buffet at your house. Just make sure K knows the day before!!

Sandy- I did a white pages search and it told me that Eddie Becker is in California.

Joel- Nothing new here.....counting the sleeps until we see you!

Hi everyone! This is a first for me in the message forum. I am sitting in St. Augustine, Florida with Gari Greenwald and we are missing everyone we grew up with. We think it is a great idea to meet on Sunday for a brunch. We were thinking that all the people who don't live in Cleveland always miss Corky and Lenny's (if that is still the name). Would that be a place that y'all may think is a good place. (I thought you might like to hear how we talk down in this neck of the woods.) We have no Jewish or nearly none in N. Florida. We are looking for lox and bagels. But, anywhere you suggest will be fine with us! Gari and I found out that we live about 1.5 hours away from eachother from this web site! Thanks so much to everyone who put this together for all of us to connect. We are both going to the reunion and can't wait to see everyone! Randi

Thanks Clare. Tonight was my mom's big 96th birthday party with all the relatives and friends. They made us get up on the stage and perform, everyone did different stuff. One of my sisters and me had to do a 4 handed piano version of Exodus we performed in high school, you know how many years ago that was...so glad tonight is over! And no, I'm not planning on any Cleveland visits except for the reunion if I come. But sure sounds like all your get-togethers are a blast! Enjoy! Hey all of you, grab a camera when you all get together. The pictures are wonderful and the Photo Albums has room for lots more!

Rita, Tsk Tsk...what you are looking for is hidden to the eye!!

Adrian; Where are you??

Clare; It would have been fun to see you had you been in Cleveland. Maybe someday, for now we will have to rely on photos

Val: God Bless your mom!!!

Bonnie; No

Randy and Gari-

I live 1.5 hrs away from St Augustine---in Orlando. So when are we all going to get together? Unfortunately we return to Florida on Sunday, so we can return to work on Monday. Our flight was scheduled @2 and they changed it to 1.

CLARIFICATION...Yours Truly is for FRIDAY morning the day BEFORE the reunion...not SUNDAY morning (the day AFTER the reunion). The day after the reunion, I will be spending the morning with my family before I leave for the flight home.

Anyway...Yours Truly...Friday...October 16 about 10:00 ish or a little later...Plans to be firmed up a little closer to that date!!

Randi - Great to hear from you. I hope to attend the CHS Reunion Friday night event.

I so enjoyed the time to reconnect on your visit to Cleveland for the 30th.

Best to you and your family - please convey my "hello" to Dawn.

How is your daughter (the author) doing?

Hi everyone, Just wanted to say Yours Truly is great idea for Friday morning the 16th. They have a great menu!!

Also, Sunday morning at Corky and Lenny might be great too. They have a room in the back for lots of people. Its a good location if you are staying at the Embassy Suites. Anyway, looking forward to a long weekend of eating and drinking.

Beth (I'm still here), I think a buffet at Louie's would be a great idea, but you have to be there for it!! By the way, my office I am sitting is nearly 80 degrees, I feel like I am in Ft. Myers!

Anyone who is thinking of the back room at Corky and Lenny's it holds about 35-40 people. Panera at Harvard and Richmond is also a good idea. Its a big place maybe they can set a room aside and everyone can order what they want individually. Louie,,,,, It sounds great at your house....................

I'm thinking I better find a way to lose 10 pounds before the reunion weekend so I'll break even after all these eating events!!

07/21/09 12:41 PM #2303

Adrian Friedlander

Joyce- You are way ahead of me. I need to lose about 20 lbs just to get into my outfits. Oy Vey. But speaking of food, how does Corky and Lennys sound for Sunday brunch? We will probably have to call ahead to reserve that back room for all us!!! (especially after eating the whole weekend before that)

07/21/09 12:50 PM #2304

Joyce Shrallow (Presser)

Corky and Lennys sounds good...anybody have any other ideas?

07/21/09 01:27 PM #2305

Sue Bruder (Wold)

If you have to many people the back room won't accomodate it. It holds comfortably 35-40 and you will probably have more than that.

It would nice if they could have a tour of the school like they did at the 20th?

07/22/09 09:19 PM #2307

Shelley Hornik (Lloyd)

If I come, I'd love to go to Corky's on Sunday. I can't think of any place that can accommodate more than 30-40 people. You know..if more come, we can just fill up the whole main part of the restaurant!! Personally I like their breakfast/brunch selections a LOT better than Panera.Plus I can't GO to Corky's around here. There is a Panera on almost every corner it seems.
