I miss Alice too. She was so special. I can't believe she didn't let anyone help her when she was sick.

On a more positive note, Corky's is great for me!!

Amen to happy birthday Alice. She was one FUN and hysterically funny friend. Thanks Sandy for being her cousin so we knew her young and had make out parties at her house in jr. High. Thanks Sandy for redoing my orange streaks and orange fingertipped hair when Alice streaked my hair. We laughed the whole time until I called you panicked to fix it! Alice was my date to the 10th reunion(sorry Joyce) and I miss her too! I am GRATEFUL she was MY friend!!

Hi Everyone, just wanted to say again I think Corky and Lenny's is a good idea. Its near the hotels and can accomodate a bunch of us. As it gets closer, we can kind of get a count to see who is interested and then call ahead to reserve that room. I hope that sounds good!!

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to Alice too. I didn't know her very well, but I wished I did, she sounded like a wonderful person!!

If anyone wants to call Corky's, I have the party room reserved for Friday night, but cancel that and reserve Sunday Morning. What ime is everyone thinking? Our flight was moved up to 1:00 pm, so I doubt that we will be "brunching".

I remember Alice as well and my mom grew up..... with Alice, Sandy and Michael Wagers......mothers! Talk about networking. She was a very dear person, will always be missed and cherished

Hi all,

Another busy week here in SW Florida. It is strange to know I was in Cleveland only two weeks ago. Dinner at Panini's that Thursday night is still a fresh memory for me. Glad to see so many of you have your plans coming together for YOUR visits to Cleveland. There really is something special about 'going home.'

While it would be nice to be there in October, it is not possible for me. I will look forward to your notes, photos and input on all of the gatherings that preceed and follow the class reunion.

Sandy, I didn't know Alice's birthday was this past week. I know you and she shared a lot of history of growing up together. Hope her memory continues to burn for you, I know you still miss her.

Adrian, are you out there?

Louie, why are you so silent this week? You aren't really working are you?

Rita, Have you recovered yet ?

I still enjoy reading everyones posts on this forum.

Bonnie and everyone who is interested in an early brunch that Sunday at Corky's, we probably should make it around 10 am so that the people out of town can catch their flights. We don't want to make it too early either, so that some people can sleep in a little bit. I can call them and reserve that room, if that's what everyone wants. Let me know.

Sue, It looks great. For some reason I went to Alice's memorium and I got nothing for page 1. I had posted to her memorium last November and I couldn't see anything of the earlier posts???

The birthdays are a great idea!!

I contacted Jeffrey and Scott late this afternoon. I informed them of my pilgramage, on the internet, to Nightown this evening. I admit that I had doubts that either would show up;my expectations were fulfilled. If either or both had shown up, we'd be on the front steps of Roxboro, right now!

There are some problems with the site right now and the programmer of class creator is trying to fix the photo problem right now, photo duplicates and deleting, as well as the memory page deleting pages. Keep trying.

7/26/09 Post note: Everything seems to be working fine now...

OK...I'm probably looking right at it...but where are the upcoming birthdays on the home page???

07/25/09 08:08 PM #2324

Bill Kent

Shelley...

Upcoming birthdays are in a box at the bottom of the right hand side of the Home Page, just below the "Where They Live" box.

Thanks to all who sent me birthday wishes. Wow Sue, you got that function working just in time!!!

OK...my home page must be messed up. The committee "message" (in the grey box) takes up almost ALL the page. In fact, I can no longer see who is online (on the right top) or change whether *I* want to be seen online. I cannot see ANYTHING on the right side of the grey box (with the committee info in it) at all..it's covered by the grey box.

The "where we live" section is also covered by the grey box.

By the way...this "grey box" increased in size when the home page was changed recently. I just figured it was part of the "new look"...didn't realize I was missing a LOT of info now on the right.

How can I fix this??

Is anyone else having problems besides Shelley?
Please let me know.
Claire,
The first page of Alice is now there.

Sue

I told you that I was having the same big grey box problem, only when I am on the site from work.

It is fine from home

I would check to see if the folks with problems updated to explorer 8.... I have seen problems with web pages with the new software.....

I have done no updates to my computer, Steve.

Steve, I'm accessing this forum through AOL as a favorite. *I* have not changed anything since beginning to use this forum...nothing. The change in my home page came the SAME DAY as the committee's update of the home page. I didn't do anything different.
