Comments:

Hmmmm....Graduated from Delta State. Moved to Memphis to work and married Paul Ratliff. Had two wonderful daughters. Lived in Florida and Texas before moving to Arkansas in 1975 to start a fruit farm. For awhile had fun driving a tractor. Enjoyed my little girls while I taught childbirth education classes and led La Leche League groups. Moved to Russellville AR and divorced. With help from my family opened my frame shop which is now also a gallery. 30 years in retail and counting while I figure out what to be when I grow up. Interested in faith and justice issues, particularly the politics of food. Work in the community for historic preservation and live in an old house in a historic area with my husband of 8 years, Robert Hodges, aka RE. (Trying to transfer my co-dependent behaviors from people to inanimate objects, like old houses.) Longtime volunteer and board member of Main Street Russellville. Starting a church/commuity garden at my church. Love to spend time with our five grandchildren all over the country. Love my garden patch, my book club and my centering prayer group. Love female road trips for get togethers with new and longtime friends. Relax with RE by reading and watching movies no one's ever heard of, particularly foreign movies. (Why not? At this point we use subtitles anyway for all movies and besides, it's vicarious travel.) Appreciate longtime friends more and more these days.

School Story:

I think I in sleep mode during much of high school. I just wanted to sit in a tree, read a book and not think about getting embarrassed at the board in algebra class. On the other hand I dreamed about sewing the perfect cute outfit to wear to school with a rainbow collection of Piccolino shoes like Gloria Gazaway had. (I had only black patent and white.) Still trying to tame my "Material Girl" issues.
