Comments:

I taught gifted children in Cleveland, and then for 25 years in Jackson. I wrote two books for teachers (both published by Prufrock Press). I now live in Nashville, TN.

School Story:

One of the best memories was stealing hydrangeas from everyone in Cleveland at 5 o'clock in the morning (these were to be used for class day). Several of us went out in my parents' station wagon. One woman was waiting for us on her porch and threatened us if we touched any of her flowers.

I kept a scrapbook of our senior year, and Jan Williams and I had fun in recent years laughing over the descriptions of the senior parties and what we wore as they were written up in the Bolivar Commercial.
