When I graduated I went to NWJC for 2 1/2 years. I got my associated degree. I worked at Baddour Memorial Center for about 3 years. This job taught me so much about dealing with people and accepting people as they are. I also worked part time at a sign company in Memphis. After moving on from those jobs I went to Goldsmiths in Memphis, I stayed there for 3 years and learned so much about arts. I started in the printing field after Goldsmiths. W.A. Kreager in Senatobia is where that career first started. I was a pasteup artist then a stripper. I hated working nights so I found a day time job at Wimmer Cookbooks. I have gotten married, had a son and gone through many of lifes ups and downs while working there. I have been there 22 years and have enjoyed every single day of it. They are like family to me. My husband has been there 28 years. I work designing cookbooks and he is an estimator. My most famous cookbook is "Crazy Sista Cookin" by Lucy Buffett (Jimmy Buffetts sister) She owns a restaurant in Gulf Shores, AL and she treated me and my family to lunch when we visited there. Over the past 3 years I joined Weight Watchers and lost over 100 pounds. I have dedicated my life to changing my eating habits and trying to keep my family more healthy. I walk 3 to 4 miles each day. Drink plenty of water and plan my meals. I love life right now. Its been good to me so far.
